Shattered
My wife and I have had an amazing five years together and just celebrated our anniversary a week ago! While washing dishes a few days before, I dropped the lid to our favorite teapot and it shattered!

Majesty in a Teapot – Perfect for Travel
Even though I love beautiful teapots and have quite a nice collection, I find myself using the Travette almost every day. I’m especially excited about the newest one, Majestica for many reasons. It has all the benefits of the old one with a brand new micro infuser and a handle to [...]

Eureka—A Great Travel Water Kettle
This summer I have may things to be happy about. It seems that just about the time I find a favorite lipstick color or a product that I am very committed to, the company decides to discontinue it or go out of business. That’s one reason that many of us buy duplicates when we find [...]

Tea Policeman
I’m always telling people as they choose a tea and learn how to steep it, that there’s not a “tea policeman” out there who is going to arrest them or scold them for choosing a particular tea or steeping it the way they like it. In America we have freedom to make choices, including what [...]

Cool New Travel Mug for the Hot Summer
Carol’s Tea Blog
I really like the new Aladdin Travel Mug with a drop-down infuser basket. There are so many things I like about this mug, it’s hard for me to begin. When I first saw it at another store, I was immediately attracted to the friendly green top (also comes in a teal blue) and grabbed it off [...]

Mother’s Day Tips from a Mother of Three
Carol’s Tea Blog-
Mother’s Day is a special day each spring when we honor our mothers. In England, that day is in March and is called Mothering Day. I think being a mother and raising three boys is the most important thing I’ve ever done on this earth. Those memories include sweet and humorous times as [...]

White is the New Black
White is the New Black: Sterling Silver Needles White Tea
Carol’s Tea Blog
I’m one of those people who has been drinking tea for more than 40 years, predominately black tea and has had trouble getting into green tea. The latest research on tea has shown that green tea is especially good for us, mainly because it’s not [...]

Favorite Traveling Teapot: Travette Teapot – $33.00
One of my favorite teaware products at the Tea Embassy could be easily overlooked, unless the pretty pastel spring colors caught your eye on this very practical ordinary design. We call it the Travette. It’s a 21 oz (3 cup) vacuum teapot/mug with an infuser.
I use it often [...]
