  1. My Favorite Earl Grey 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Apr 2020

I first tried the royal earl grey tea years ago while living in Austin. The flavor is exactly what I need for a morning pick-me-up. It provides the right amount of caffeine and warmth to get me started for the workday. It is a nice earl grey, with a crispness to it that I really enjoy, and a good balance of bergamot flavor without being overwhelming. I've moved away from Austin but continue to purchase this tea to have shipped as I haven't been able to find anything comparable anywhere else.

  2. Great Bergamot Taste 5 Star Review

This tea has a lot of bergamot flavor, which I wanted. I made iced tea with it and was a little generous with the amount, and I was able to get three steepings, which became less strong but a bit more subtle each time. I was very pleased with this blend and will buy again.

  3. My new go-to Earl Grey 5 Star Review

Earl Grey is one of my favorite teas and this one hits the spot. It's full of flavor with all that bergamot-goodness, and a bit sweet but not overly so.

  4. Royal Earl Gray. A Royal Treat ! 5 Star Review

Rich and almost sweet, slightly flower-y aroma.
I will be gifting this tea for many special occasions.
    Might be my new favorite...

  5. The Best Earl Grey I ever had 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Oct 2016

I think that the title says it all. I even named my Borzois after this! Yes, their names are Earl and Grey, but since "Earl" was not available he was officially named "Royal Earl". I tried all brands of Earl Grey I could find available, and this one is definitely one step above to me.

  6. Always come back to this 5 Star Review

This is my favorite tea. I spent some time trying other brands of Earl Grey, but I always come back to Tea Embassy's Royal Earl Grey. The flavor is the best. The leaves are long and unfurl beautifully in the pot. No pieces and dust here. Awesome tea!

  7. My Early Grey of choice 5 Star Review

Of all the tea companies I buy from, this is my favorite Earl Grey. If you like a lot of Bergamot, give this a taste.

  8. The Best... 5 Star Review

The best earl grey. If you love bergamot then you will love this. (It does NOT taste like pine...)

  9. tastes like pine (not a good thing) 2 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Mar 2014

I love Earl Grey tea--generally, and I love Tea Embassy's Cream Earl Grey, but I can't stand this Royal Earl Grey. The "white tea silver needles" make the tea taste like pine, and I can't get past it. I feel like I'm drinking Pine-Sol and had to dump it out; sad. I am hoping someone else in my office likes the flavor, or the rest of the bag will go to waste.

This tea has a wonderful smell and is really tasty. It's one of my favorite teas.
