Uniquely ground with vanilla beans, making it look like espresso, rather than tea! This wonderfully bold black tea is processed in the same style of the island Mauritius near Madagascar. Sourced in India. Because it is ground so finely, it only needs about 1 to 2 minutes steeping time in boiling water for a strong vanilla black tea infusion.

Steep one teaspoon of loose tea per 6-8oz. of boiling water, 212°F, for 3.5-4 minutes.

Loose leaf tea comes packaged in a foil-lined, opaque pouch that has a resealable zip-lock to maintain freshness.

Good Iced

This tea is finely ground and needs an exceptionally fine strainer. I did not get much vanilla flavor when hot and was some disappointed but used it in my Ice Tea maker and it was much better that way.

This is the Absolute Best!

This is the most high quality vanilla tea I've ever purchased and I'm a tea snob. When I spoke with the TE own, he said that if you were wanted a drink with the caffeine content and boldness of coffee then this is the tea for you. My favorite tea for years has been Almond Cake Green Tea from TE, but this is my new favorite. The vanilla flavor is strong, not subtle like many vanillas on the market. Combine it with a splash of cream to reinforce the creamy vanilla aspect and it is heavenly.
